I was commissioned to write a composition inspired by Fingal's Cave in The Hebrides. I used impulse responses from the cave itself to accurately re-create it's acoustic properties, and wrote a score that tried to convey it's awesome and cold beauty. 

The piece was played in full at the end of an immersive documentary about the cave (which I also scored and sound design-ed), and additionally received an ambisonics up-mix for a Virtual Reality experience of the cave.
